Tony Scroope

I am a Certified Financial Planner™ and founder of Scroope Wealth Management, with over 15 years of experience in the financial planning and wealth management industry.

Before founding Scroope Wealth Management in 2019, I most recently worked as a Senior Financial Planning Manager with AIB, where I advised High Net Worth clients on all areas of Financial and Wealth Management. Prior to that, I worked with Bank of Ireland Life for over 9 years, acquiring and developing my knowledge and expertise in the industry.

After over 13 years working in the industry, I decided it was time for my next challenge. I passionately believe that there is a need to create an open and transparent financial service offering in Ireland, something that I simply could not achieve working for a large and highly constrained financial institution. Giving my clients the very best unbiased professional advice by matching their needs with the best solutions the market has to offer is my number one priority and something which gives me great pride. I knew the best way to achieve this was by founding Scroope Wealth Management. In addition, I was blessed to be given the opportunity to establish the business alongside my father’s well-known brokerage, Michael Scroope Insurances which has been in business for over 40 years.

On 7th of March 2019, I handed in my notice of employment, and the rest, as they say, is history.
